The Payroll Assistant/Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day processing of the US domestic and expat payroll, handle customer service inquiries.
Responsibilities
Process semi-monthly payroll inputs into Workday application and ensure all entries are reviewed and approved before semi-monthly payroll is completed.
Maintain payroll checklists and execute internal controls to ensure accuracy of the payroll.
Process payroll garnishments to ensure proper setup and ongoing reporting.
Point of contact for payroll processing and inquiries.
Reliable during critical phases in semi-monthly pay cycles.
Interface with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely payment file submission, via JPMC, for employee expense reimbursements.
Responsible for maintaining and following standard written operating procedures and ensure processes are carried out accordingly.
Process vendor invoices and other misc. payments via ChromeRiver.
Interface with the HR/Benefits teams to ensure accurate payment and reporting for Special One-Time Payments, Voluntary Deductions, and Leave of Absence.
Liaison with Legal Personnel to monitor and maintain Associate Loan and Visa status documentation.
Ad hoc payroll reporting and requests.
Pay $50K-$65KDOE
Qualifications
1- 5 years payroll experience in organizations with 500+ employees across multiple jurisdictions.
Workday, 3E Financial system, and ADP experience preferred; but not required.
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Skilled in report writing and data analysis using Excel.
The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong work ethic, and continually able to prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
