We are seeking a Legal Recruiting Assistant – Lateral to join our Legal Recruiting team in the New York office. The Legal Recruiting Assistant – Lateral will provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Coordinators, and the Legal Recruiting Manager.
• Provide administrative support to Legal Recruiting Manager and Legal Recruiting team.
• General clerical duties such as answering phones, responding to e-mails, creating correspondence and memos, data entry, and filing.
• Process invoices for reimbursements and vendor payments.
• Typing correspondence including rejection letters, offer letters and mass mailings.
• Process resumes including inputting information and running reports in viRecruit and creating files.
• Coordinate interview details including making travel arrangements, reserving conference rooms, catering, etc.
• Assist in scheduling interviews, filling cancellations, and greeting/walking candidates.
• Work on other projects as may be assigned from time to time.
The anticipated base salary range offered for this role will be between $55,000 to $63,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base compensation range. Actual base compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees, and location, as well as the needs of the firm.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred; experience working in a fast-paced law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Must have computer skills in Word. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and viRecruit a plus.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be a strong team-player.
• Must have superior organizational skills and have strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to juggle multiple tasks with competing tight deadlines.
• Exhibit a high energy level and have a professional demeanor.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A 4-year college degree is required.
