Reporting to the Legal Administrative Support Manager, the Legal Team Assistant will provide client service-related duties as part of an integrated legal support team encompassing a broad range of support tasks. Legal Team Assistants are expected to have a demonstrated positive and proactive customer service approach to support and work effectively as a member of a broader team. They must coordinate activities with their team as a collective group and work in conjunction with other teams and/or the Coordinators/Manager. The volume and type of requests handled by any team member is determined by the variable workflows of the practice areas. The Legal Team Assistant will work effectively within the legal support team structure as a collaborative team member, including sharing duties and assisting other support teams on other floors as needed. In general, Legal Team Assistants will consistently contribute in a positive manner to the overall success of the team. Please note this position will be on-site at 55HY in NYC.
The Payroll Assistant/Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day processing of the US domestic and expat payroll, handle customer service inquiries.
The Client Billing Lead position leads the billing and collections activities for a specific Practice Group(s). The Client Billing Lead coordinates the day-to-day activities within the team, and is the primary liaison / concierge to the Billing Partners within the assigned group. The Client Billing Lead should understand the type of legal services provided within their practice group and how they translate into the revenue cycle. Primary responsibilities include monitoring the unbilled and accounts receivable inventory, processing client invoices with complex and advanced billing requirements, and being a leader in the department.
Legal Administrative Support Coordinator & Trainer will assist the Manager with the day-to-day management and operations of the Secretarial Services department. Must be onsite at our 55HY NYC Office.
Responsible for overall management of day-to-day billing for specific Practice Groups, and the billers assigned to support those Practice Groups. Recruit, retain, develop, mentor and train the Billing staff ensuring that all are adequately informed and knowledgeable, and instill a culture of excellent service to the partners and the Milbank community. Ensure Revenue policies and procedures are maintained and continuously observed. Develop appropriate internal controls to ensure accountability across the team.
Provide primary support to Global Leveraged Finance team relating to non-litigation, intellectual property-specific functions, including (i) IP due diligence searches, ownership and lien reviews and perfection operations, (ii) IP-related docketing, and (iii) US federal trademark prosecution (and limited patent prosecution).

The Audio-Visual Support Specialist is a member of the Information Technology Department at Milbank, LLP, reporting to the Executive IT Support & Telecom Manager.

To develop a deep understanding of the Global Energy & Infrastructure industry group across practices, specifically, the Global Corporate/M&A and Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance practices, its transactions and partners, the ideal candidate will view this as a long-term position.
General maintenance for the NY office which includes: general housekeeping functions, setting up conference rooms, moving and fixing furniture, light carpentry work and minor mechanical repairs.
