This position provides legal assistant support to the attorneys in the Alternative Investments practice and will require you to be in the office 4 days a week at 55HY.
The position will support our Alternative Investments practice group. The Talent Development Manager will be a member of the Legal Personnel Department and report to the Director of Attorney Talent Development. This position is located in the New York office and is hybrid (3 days in office is required). The Talent Development Manager should be comfortable interacting with employees at all levels under pressure while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient, and should display a high level of professionalism.
This role will take the lead on technical tax issues related to the global firm's tax and filing obligations, primarily focused outside the US specifically in London and Asia. There will be involvement with all offices in the global footprint. This role needs to liaise closely with the NY-based tax team who currently handle all US and foreign compliance tax matters and global partnership accounting.
